ARG's Insurance & Advanced Planning exists to simplify and empower our advisor practices by offering an end-to-end solution for life insurance, annuity, and advanced planning needs.

Simply put, we help our advisors design the case, sell it, and place the business with a streamlined process, free from headaches. We also help our advisors develop new opportunities within their existing book of clientele through our complimentary practice consultation, training, and development in advanced planning arenas such as business planning, estate planning, premium finance, and holistic approaches to retirement income design. We have an internal web portal that acts as an access point to most of our tools and resources in one central location. 

Case Design & Sales Support

  • Carrier & Product Research: From life, disability, and long-term care insurance to fixed annuities, FIA’s, and variable annuities, we can help you navigate a carrier and product lineup that can often be overwhelming, drilling down quickly to a few optimal choices for your client. 
  • Life & Annuity Case Design: Sometimes you just need help finding a product and delivering a compelling illustration. We can handle this legwork or train you in our consolidated illustration system, so that you can spend more time with your clients and your family. Many advisors will come to us with a basic client scenario and we will get back to them with product recommendations, case design, and illustrations ready for presentation. 
  • Life Insurance Advanced Case Design: Solving complex client needs can often make the difference in locking down an affluent prospect and catapulting your insurance and annuity revenue. We offer training and development opportunities, as well as case design in the arenas of:
    • Business Planning - Show business owners that you don’t know what you don’t know, by enlightening them in ways to improve and tighten their succession and buyout planning, protection, tax minimization, and key employee retention programs.
    • Estate Planning - Maximize multi-generational wealth through the use of trusts, estate equalization, and gifting strategies. We’ll introduce you to ways to minimize premium outlay and demonstrate the improvement in post-tax estate valuation through eMoney planning software.
  • Life Insurance Advanced Case Design: continued
    • Retirement Income Design - The world has changed a lot in the last 30 years and traditional asset allocation approaches are failing your clients in delivering sustainable, efficient, and predictable outcomes. Demonstrate in a verifiable fashion within your planning software how to improve these outcomes using modern retirement income design across an ever-changing future of shifting tax laws, interest rates, and market volatility.
    • Premium Finance - Big insurance needs require sophisticated solutions with large death benefits and premiums. No matter how powerful the solution, it’s never fun for a client to write a 6 or 7 figure premium check. With the use of collateral, we can minimize, or sometimes eliminate, out of pocket outlay for the client, improving the palatability of the solution.
  • Sales Training & Support: None of these advanced concepts do any good unless you can present it to the client in a way that lands with them in a compelling fashion! We can help teach you how to have the conversation with the client and how to build the case out in eMoney. All of this is free of charge. The only thing we ever charge a commission split on is direct sales support if you would like us to actually join the client conversation, which is negotiated on a case by case basis. 
  • Sales Concepts and White Papers: We have a number of sales concepts and white papers that can be quickly customized to your brand. For our larger cases ($50,000 annual target premium and above), we will write a custom one-pager to use when presenting to the client.

As Vice President of Insurance & Advanced Planning, Zach is responsible for consulting with advisors on advanced planning education and case design. He has a Master’s of Science in Financial Services as well as his CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®, and RICP® and has always been passionate about the advanced markets. He works directly with advisors to explore new market opportunities, construct case design, and train advisors in appropriate language and techniques to use in client meetings when presenting advanced planning concepts.

Tony is ARG's eMoney software specialist and helps advisors present planning concepts and recommendations to their clients in an easy to digest visual manner. With over 15 years of hands-on experience in the industry as an advisor, and the education that comes from the completion of six certificates from the American College of Financial Services, Tony can analyze a client's entire financial picture and suggest multiple strategies that align with the client's goals and objectives.
